Alessandro Lombardi

Alessandro Lombardi brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Technical Director at Uniesse Marine. His journey in the maritime industry began in 1969 when he joined the technical office of Cantieri Navali M. & B. Benetti di Viareggio, one of the most prominent shipyards of its time. Quickly rising through the ranks, Lombardi assumed the responsibility of managing the interface between the technical office and the workshop, overseeing the construction and installation of crucial mechanical components on board.
In 1985, Lombardi embarked on a freelance career in naval and mechanical projects, gaining valuable insights and skills while collaborating with renowned shipyards such as Versilcraft, C.T.M., Carp Navi, Italversil, and Velmare. This period of freelancing allowed him to diversify his experience and deepen his understanding of various aspects of yacht construction and engineering.
In 1987, Lombardi co-founded C.L.M. Co., alongside Merlino Mauro and Cozzani Francesco, both esteemed members of M&B Benetti’s technical office. Over the past 35 years, C.L.M. has established itself as a trusted partner to numerous shipyards, specializing in the construction and design of technical plants for aluminum and steel motor yachts.
Throughout his career, Lombardi has collaborated with prestigious shipyards, including C.B.N. Navi, Cantieri Falcon, Cantieri Versil, Cantieri Italversil, Cantieri Ferrari, Fincantieri, Gecan Benetti, S.E.C., Versilcraft, Cantieri Morini, Benetti Sail Division, Logica Yachts, Societa’ Athanor, Perini Navi, Cantieri F.lli Rossi, Cantiere Arno, Italyacht, Euronavi, Versilcraft by Euro-Yacht, Cantieri Navali De Poli, and Ortona Navi, among others.
His extensive knowledge and hands-on experience make him a valuable asset to Uniesse Marine as we continue to innovate and excel in the world of yacht construction and design.
